Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field required.
Minimum of five years experience in marketing and communications required.
Health care experience is preferred.
Must possess ability to develop positive and effective working relationships with senior leadership, physicians, management, and staff.
Position requires ability to self-direct and utilizes superior judgment and relationship skills. Successful candidate will possess ability to develop comprehensive and strategic marketing and communications plans with goal and results orientation.
This position requires the ability to work independently to analyze information and develop strategic marketing and communications solutions as well work as a member of a highly skilled team.
Effective written and oral communication skills are required.
The ability to coordinate multiple projects through superior time management and teamwork are necessary for this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word is required.
Strategy and Planning
Uses high-level thinking and sound judgment to develop and oversee implementation of goal-oriented marketing communication plans that support the strategic direction of Munson Healthcare, its subsidiaries, and affiliated hospitals as assigned by the Director. Plans must be strategic, targeted, timely, and measurable
Works with management, physician leadership, and senior leadership to understand and quantify service line and organizational goals and objectives
Works closely with Planning/Decision Support to ensure understanding of markets and service line planning initiatives including trends, customer needs, and service quality characteristics
Works with Corporate Communications & Marketing staff to coordinate and ensure timely implementation of plans and tactics
Leverages Customer Relationship Management system/database to develop targeted and trackable communications strategies and tactics that generate positive return on investment for the organization
Maintains knowledge of the depth and scope of the Munson Healthcare System's objectives that ensures the flexibility to adapt to changing organizational priorities
Supports organization initiatives at the direction of the Director and senior leadership
Maintains knowledge of industry trends to ensure utilization of most sophisticated marketing approaches
Maintains positive and productive working relationships with all senior leadership, physician leaders, service line directors, and department managers
Delivers excellent customer service to system clients, including timely development of plans, progress reporting, and measurement of results
Works with Contact Center to ensure appropriate scripting, tracking, and integration of iCRM (instantl Customer Relationship Management) for marketing and educational campaigns
Works with Corporate Communications & Marketing management on annual budgets and resource planning
Utilizes root cause analysis and lean office approach to continuously improve quality and efficiency
Coordinates media planning with outside agency to ensure targeted, timely, and coordinated messaging
Maintains awareness of and monitors compliance with corporate identity standards
Carries out special projects with minimal direction, as assigned by Director
