Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Integrated Marketing Specialist position is part of the team that directs the strategic development and execution of marketing for Harvard Business School's (HBS) Executive Education business.
The role will manage the day-to-day social media efforts and contribute to social media strategy for Executive Education, provide support for a program-specific marketing campaigns, and manage sponsored conferences and other community engagement initiatives as needed.
Working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, the ideal candidate must possess superior project management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical ability, and be able to manage multiple projects with numerous clients and deadlines.
Contribute to social media strategy in collaboration with Senior Marketing Manager
Plan, execute, and manage the day-to-day online social media efforts leveraging the editorial calendar and internal processes
Monitor all social media channels and encourage community engagement through timely action and responses
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop engaging social media campaigns through original content, thought leadership, and visual content
Lead the development of organization-wide social media management standards, policies, and rules of engagement, including best practices and trainings as needed
Continuously improve social media campaigns by keeping abreast of trends and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics and insights
Work on a select group of HBS Executive Education programs, which includes developing program content for website, social media channels, emails, newsletters, videos, brochures, and the print on demand collateral system
Research and source faculty thought leadership content to be used in lead generation efforts; Liaise with outside writers, proofreaders, printers, and agencies
Research and recommend sponsored conference opportunities based on target audience, deliverables, and budget. Coordinate logistics with conference organizers and internal marketing team.
Collaborate with Marketing, Executive Education administration, and HBS faculty as well with outside writers, proofreaders, printers, and agencies
Monitor and maintain budgets for campaigns; enter invoices into the database, reconciling invoices with agency, and coordinating with finance department to ensure prompt payment to vendors

A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required.
Experience in a professional marketing/agency environment is preferred; This position requires a team player with a willingness and ability to work with multiple groups within Executive Education and across campus. Ability to work in a fast-paced organization and to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; attention to detail; organizational and effective time management skills are essential; ability to work independently as well as part of a team is critical; must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills plus analytical and proofreading skills. Sound knowledge and experience with relevant Social Media platforms, channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Google+), and their respective audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required. Knowledge of social media tools (Spredfast), CRM system, (Salesforce.com), and web analytics tools, (Adobe), is preferred.
