Reporting to the Marketing Director as a key member of the team responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for the institution, the Marketing Manager will be tasked with developing marketing objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned departments, institutes and/or established priority areas. Serving as the primary liaison with clients (physicians and administrative leadership), the Marketing Manager will partner with them to establish strategic marketing priorities. He/She will then develop strategic plans and coordinate their execution with appropriate areas in the Medical Center.
The successful candidate will be a skilled marketing professional with five to ten years of progressive work experience, preferably in a healthcare organization or an advertising agency. Ideally, he/she will have an understanding and knowledge of a healthcare environment, in particular of working with physicians. Extensive knowledge and skill with various PC and database applications is required. In addition, he/she should have the ability to identify, summarize and report on critical data and have experience managing a budget. An undergraduate degree is required.
