St Vincent de Paul of Baltimore (SVDP) is seeking highly qualified candidates for the positions of Director, Marketing and Communications. This position is a part of a growing Development and Marketing Team that reports directly to the Vice President of Development and Marketing. This position will be a part of a team that supports SVDP’s, fund development, marketing and communications.
The Director, Marketing and Communications is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s marketing and communications including public relations, print publications, e-communications, social media, website, and the promotion of St. Vincent de Paul’s programs, impact and stories, and financial, volunteer and in-kind needs.
Qualifications include: B.S. or B.A. degree, minimum five (5) years’ experience with direct responsibility for marketing, public relations, or communications, preferably in a non-profit setting; Strong organizational, computer proficiency including demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Suite, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional experience with media relations, website management, SEO, social media, and e-communications; experience with writing, designing publications and marketing, advertising, fundraising marketing, and public speaking experience.
