Reporting to the Project Manager, Event Marketing, the Manager, Marketing Strategy and Partnerships works across all NBAA events to oversee the media barter program and other strategic partnerships. The Manager will also participate in the coordination and production of various on-site show publications, marketing integration with the event websites, and key elements of the event email marketing campaigns.
Duties & Responsibilities:
? Manage the annual strategic media partner plan and work with outside publications to establish/renew barter agreements for conventions, conferences, and forums.
? Establish strategic partnerships with regional business aviation groups and other special interest groups to drive local event marketing efforts.
? Develop the media plan and oversee marketing development and placement for advertising efforts.
? Work with the agency on attendee expansion programs for the conventions, assisting in development of target lists, promotional packages, and any necessary press tour planning.
? Manage marketing for attendee justification toolkits, journey mapping, housing and exhibitor badges, copywriting, and content development.
? Coordinate with agency to produce key exhibitor dashboard engagement pieces such as email banners, logos, and customer invitations.
? Provide marketing content to the web team for each of the event websites.
? Manage production of key on-site show publications, including the three convention Show Guides.
? Act as main contact for the three Show Daily media partners during preparation as well as on-site at conventions, including oversight of their press rooms and hotel authorizations.
? Review data analytics and implement optimization across the marketing program.
? Coordinate with the agency to produce video marketing as needed.
? Assist with event marketing shipments and inventory management.
? Assist in management of the budgeting and invoicing for any related marketing expenditures.
? Maintain regular contact with staff, members, press, designers, and printers.
