We are looking for a talented Marketing professional with strong track record of digital end to end - strategy, project management and execution. The successful candidate understands what it takes to deliver customer-centric marketing programs and communications within a complex, high pressure environment to deliver brand, commercial and customer experience targets. We are looking for a solid track record of integrated digital campaign delivery across geographies - country, regional and global.
This role will suit someone who is comfortable leading the briefing and planning process for commercial and brand focused marketing initiatives, bringing key product stakeholders along the journey and ensuring that all activity has clear objectives and ROI from initial planning through to delivery and ongoing optimization. This role will take full responsibility for customer engagement opportunities within Citi Cards business, proactively identifying opportunities to build deeper, commercially driven relationships and digital platform usage/adoption with our customer base working towards Citi Asia's objective to be #1 digital bank. This role will work closely with the campaigns and digital acquisition teams to ensure there is alignment between new to bank customers captured during this sales phase. Other teams that will be critical to success of this role will include the broader regional marketing team, cards segment team and country digital engagement representatives. The successful candidate will be a team player and understands the importance of project ownership and taking pride in the communications and experiences we build for our customer base.
Our ideal candidate is a digital marketing professional, preferably with a strong track record in fast paced environment, finance experience a bonus however not essential. Start-up minded and ability to deliver tangible commercial impact within a business and equally being able to communicate and share that success with cross functional colleagues. For this position, it's also essential to be up-to-date with digital innovations and channels critical to rolling out integrated marketing campaigns targeting our existing customer base, moving beyond website and email and towards personalized mobile based brand experiences across our owned and paid channels. The candidate must be competent in understanding performance (commercial + brand) based marketing, optimizing activity through metrics and analysis. Ultimately, this role will support reaching our stretch targets across KPIs and expand the regional digital engagement team's capability to deliver best in class customer experiences with agility.
Building and establishing strong relationships across the Marketing and Cards teams and drive accountability and delivery against defined initiatives (country, regional & global
Manage the business case and strategic process for defined digital engagement (i.e. customer focused) opportunities within Citi Asia, with a focus on the Cards customer base
Stay across all KPIs reported for Asia, understand performance indicators within markets, proactively build in country opportunities and support the scaling of successful projects at the country level
Delivers innovative ways to reach and engage our customers, building stronger, longer relationships and driving a digital/mobile first message in everything we do, core to this is moving customers away from established and inefficient analogue channels.
Communicate across the team relevant market trends/competitor insights related to digital engagement to increase understanding of our customers
Work closely with Global, Regional and country teams to ensure that metrics are being met and communicated across the business
Leverage monthly data to identify and analyze trends, gaps/spikes/anomalies, key drivers, and opportunities for cross-regional sharing of learning and best practices; correlate digital trends with omni-channel user behavior.
Manage timelines for projects for monthly/quarterly reporting supporting team on relevant digital engagement presentations
Ability to create executive level summary reports, presentations to reflect Asia's digital progress and opportunities and comfortable presenting to a senior audience
The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing business/finance (or a related discipline)
At least 5 years' of work experience in in Digital Marketing/ Business oriented role
Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills
Robust strategic, operational and project management skills
Must have analytical background and ability to build commercially focused business cases and Marketing programmes
Disciplined and structured thinking
A quick thinker who can work independently and efficiently on tight deadlines, while having an eye for detail
Very strong in building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders in Global, Regional and in-country teams.
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
High level of initiative with a good ability to perform under time pressure/tight deadlines
