This role works closely with sales, segment marketing, product management and portfolio marketing teams to understand customer needs and develop marketing and sales collateral to support the sales team in generating, nurturing and closing sales opportunities. Using a combination of market / business analysis and tactical execution, the successful candidate will create marketing collateral, sales tools, and segment training materialsPositions in this function analyze and monitor the existing business and competitive landscape and provide support for strategic marketing initiatives. Positions manage and develop primary research (surveys, focus groups, etc.) associated with customers, members, brokers, products, advertising, and brand.Primary Responsibilities:Demonstrated skills and success at developing marketing solutions and products Strong written and verbal communication skills – must be able to produce high quality content and executive-level communications Success in positioning solutions to win in competitive environments and consistently win against the key competitors Ability to understand core business problems faced by customers in different industry segments and to translate those into health benefit solution requirements that can successfully address the market.Strong business acumen: strategy, marketing and/or analytical background is required Must have experience in synthesizing data, constructing thoughtful analyses and be able to effectively communicate findingsAble to develop strong relationships with other business functions and influence product management, sales, operations and other marketing functions Understand how to develop thought leadership strategy and content to support the business goals Has the ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity and thrive in this type of environment
