Rockwell Automation is looking for a strong marketing communication professional to join our team. This role will:
Build customer interest and awareness in company industries and initiatives by executing on in-bound and out-bound marketing campaigns, thought leadership and sales enablement material. Works with Commercial Program Managers (CPMs) and businesses to execute on the commercial plan. Builds an understanding of the organization's global market position, opportunities, capabilities and needs. and utilizes that information to support sales.
Provide clean, concise written and verbal communications in order to create focused commercial marketing and sales enablement materials including, web site content, white papers, infographics, blogs, e-newsletters, videos, tradeshow assets, sales presentations, social media content, advertising, public relations and other media to support business goals.
Maintain thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to corporate standards and procedures. Supervises and coordinates work, both internally and by outside vendors, for adherence to standards, deadlines and budgets.
Participate in campaign planning discussions and implements and executes on marketing communications deliverables that appropriately target customers' buying behaviors and needs and supports our industries and initiatives
Write short, concise content for various deliverables including campaigns, industries and initiatives
Develops content according to best practices and applies modern marketing principles
Ensure that key messages articulate distinct and compelling market advantages
Ensure marketing deliverables have a clear call to action and an activation plan into the market
Have an intermediate understanding of analytics
Have an intermediate understanding of SEO, SEM, paid and organic social media, display advertising, marketing automation, etc.
Ensure that projects and deliverables are subject to measurement/metrics
Engage with sales and/or distributors to understand how marketing can contribute to their sales enablement needs or regularly reviews research done by other functional teams in this area
Hold self and others accountable for keeping commitments, maintaining standards and achieving functional goals
Work with other teams to execute on content delivery
