The Elgin Symphony Orchestra is seeking to fill the position of Marketing Manager. As a direct report to the Senior Director of Marketing, incumbent will assume responsibility for graphic design projects, social media marketing, product merchandising, and program book layout and updating; will coordinate all performance venue activities for concerts; and will serve as box office and administrative back up support for incoming telephone inquiries to ensure the highest level of patron satisfaction is maintained.
Seeking self-motivated, detailed oriented, highly organized individual with extensive knowledge of graphic design mediums (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) and work experience in marketing. Must have a thorough knowledge of social media platforms. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher) required. Bachler’s degree in Marketing preferred. Applicant must be a team player and will be required to work concert weekends and other evening hours.
