AAAE is looking for an energetic Marketing Coordinator to work with our growing marketing department on a wide array of projects. This position will collaborate with our marketing and production team to make sure that each project gets the resources and attention it needs to be successful. The successful candidate for this role will also be responsible for working with other departments within the company to help keep marketing campaigns on track.
Support the marketing department by creating, posting and scheduling website, mobile app and email content, including, but not limited to, writing marketing copy, setting up and sending emails in Informz, pulling information from iMIS for emails, and modifying, adding and revising information on websites through RiSE
Support marketing social media efforts with scheduling posts and with various paid social media placements as needed
Assist the graphic designer with minor changes to designs, including, but not limited to, banner changes, minor changes to forms, flyers and brochures, and coordinating changes made in InCopy by other staff
Work with marketing and production to coordinate and assist with day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks , including, but not limited to, coordinating with outside parties on advertising and paid placement/e-mails,
Handle updates and traffic flow for marketing, design and production job tickets and tracking to ensure all tracking systems are up to date and jobs are on schedule
Support the marketing department and production with project management, ordering promo items, administrative work and other duties as required
Education, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising
2+ years’ marketing, advertising or graphic design experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, iMIS and Informz preferred
Strong attention to detail
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
