About this Opportunity As a Product Manager - Senior working at Nemschoff, you'll promote, oversee, and improve a specified product category. You will be accountable for meeting all of the performance metrics for the specified product category, including profit/loss. You'll lead the Product Business Team's cross-functional vehicle charged with driving the specified product category. You will create the vision, lead the planning for, and implement the business plan to accomplish the vision. You'll also be accountable for managing the specified product category to support all of the corporate strategies, including the development of cross-platform work process elements, components, and collections. Develop product strategies to define the product offering, development programs, performance, pricing, distribution, and promotions necessary to achieve company goals to meet customer expectations and to outperform the competition.
Lead Product Business Teams to successfully introduce and/or manage all elements of a product line to meet all business plan objectives, including profit/loss accountability.
Manage all marketing and business development activities to ensure that product criteria is met, and create differentiated positioning, pricing, and marketing support programs.
Work closely with Development, Engineering, Marketing Communications, Training, Marketing Technology Groups, Manufacturing, Finance, and Sales.
Work closely with Product Development to complete test product design ideas and ensure a confident understanding that products benefit and meet customer needs resolution, product criteria, and advantages fit, as well as benefit the Product Business Team's business strategy.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Interior Design, or equivalent professional experience. An MBA is preferred.
Eight to ten years of experience in product management or product marketing.
Contract furniture or capital goods marketing experience (strongly preferred).
Advanced knowledge of the customer and sales process with demonstrated success and experience in customer relations and field sales.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with overall manufacturing, finance, and purchasing processes.
A demonstrated entrepreneurial, risk-taking, and creative design orientation.
Demonstrated high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures, and processes in a logical sequence and at a level appropriate to the audience, resulting in effective working relationships.
Proven mentoring and people development skills.
Successful experience leading cross-functional development teams.
Prior product platform team experience (desired).
Market research experience (preferred).
A demonstrated ability to effectively use the office automation, communication, software, and tools currently used in the Nemschoff office environment.
A record of ongoing professional development (strongly preferred).
An ability and willingness to travel as needed to achieve business objectives.
The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
