Graduate Assistant-Athletics Marketing, Fan Experience and Strategic Partnerships

Graduate Assistant (G.A.) will work in the athletics office to assist with day-to-day marketing and promotions, fan experience and strategic partnerships. G.A. will report to the Associate Athletic Director-External Operations. Serve as primary contact for assigned sports and secondary contact for additional sports. Assist with the production and implementation of a great game day experience, including designing creative and engaging public address announcements and timing sheets. Manage and assist with the development and execution of the marketing plans for the Student Rewards program and all details involved with the program. Serve as liaison to the student group charged with recruitment of new members and increased participation of members. Design marketing collateral, video-board graphics, fan engagement pieces, and give-away messaging. In addition, assist in teaching design platforms to student workers to help delegate tasks. Create media content and assist with management of social media accounts with a focus of engaging with current followers, and growing follower base. Assist with designing student attendance incentive strategies and programs for all 24 sports. Have a concentrated focus on season-long attendance for Football (paid attendance), DI Hockey (paid attendance) Men’s/Women’s Basketball (paid attendance) and Women’s Rugby (free attendance). Coordinate and supervise student workers in office setting and during in-game events. Assist with the planning and execution of all AIC athletics special events including alumni receptions, the annual AIC athletics golf tournament, the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, the Senior Awards Banquet, etc. Collaborate on the creation of proposals for corporate partnerships while assisting in the corporate partnership solicitation efforts, and fulfill all on-site activation of sponsor assets during home athletic events.

Additional Salary Information: Total Stipend is $2,500/semester plus a tuition waiver of 9 credits/semester (Up to $560/credit)
