The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is seeking a Manager to its Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence (MMCOE). The Manager serves in a leadership and project-management capacity to help the Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence and its related committees including Mobile, Local, Social/Native/Content, B2B, Games, Digital Out-of-Home and Audio, and other working group areas such as AI and Voice, achieve their goals. Working closely with the Director of Mobile, the Manager will help identify key challenges and opportunities for growth facing interactive advertising in the areas noted above. The Manager will help guide the implementation of solutions in the form of industry guidelines, primers and best practices, research and thought leadership events, including webinars.
The Manager supports the Director to ensure productive and documented member engagement and the delivery of concrete industry offerings that are executed with excellence. This person will work closely with team members from the Video and Data Centers of Excellence as well as the IAB Tech Lab and the Marketing and Events team. The role will be based in IAB's NYC office.
Project management of IAB's Mobile Center and mobile-related committees, including setting agendas, preparing all presentation decks and all meeting follow-up reports to capture discussion areas and next steps; work with Coordinators to ensure that all member participation is accurately captured in Salesforce;
Ensure that all Mobile Center communications/meetings is up to date on iab.com, working with the Marketing team;
Help write and develop market-making white papers, best practices, thought pieces on timely issues facing the industry;
Writing and preparation of the monthly Mobile Center Newsletter, the quarterly President’s Reports and the Mobile Center Board Member pre-read documents;
Work closely with Coordinators to manage event project plans and communication with cross-functional teams including Member Services, Events and Marketing;
Event project management for all mobile-related Town Halls and Agency Days; manage high level events from conception to completion, including all planning elements of an event (pre-event organization, management of budget, execution onsite, and, if needed, contracts). This includes the organization and seamless execution of approximately four webinars per year which include speaker prep calls and material review/collection; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years relevant work experience
Extremely well organized, with excellent time management skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Outgoing, passionate individual with a desire to learn
Excellent at multitasking
Event Management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Exposure to digital media, advertising, and/or mobile internet/technology industries is a plus
Interest in mobile marketing and media is a plus
