The Dermatology Foundation is seeking a creative Marketing and Communications professional to develop and implement its print, digital and social media communications. This individual will have responsibility for creating/arranging a wide range of materials and communications that will further the Foundation’s fundraising and awareness programs.
This individual will report to the Deputy Executive Director and will be responsible for mass e-mails; brochures; the annual report; website updates and creative direct mail pieces. This position is also responsible for maintaining the DF’s social media presence and working to implement an updated website for the Foundation. This position will have responsibility for researching, developing and implementing new and improved communication vehicles in keeping with the Foundation’s new messaging strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of hands on communications experience, including exceptional writing, project management and technology skills. Non-profit experience is a plus. A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field is desired. A master’s degree is preferred.
This position will have a strong impact on the ongoing success of the foundation. As a result, the successful candidate will be able to: 1) develop creative and strategic marketing/communication plans to obtain desired results; 2) maintain high standards for the creation and delivery of all marketing materials and digital communications; 3) have an understanding of marketing and communication principles.
