The Regional Marketing position is responsible for market strategy and planning for all marketing offerings in APAC. This leadership role will help to drive growth of MSCI across the region while working closely with executive leadership, product management and sales to plan and execute comprehensive marketing programs that produce measurable results. The candidate should have a strong background in product marketing and marketing communications with an emphasis on creating messaging, competitive positioning and sales enablement activities. The ideal candidate is a savvy, creative professional with at least 10 years of direct product marketing experience in the FinTech space who takes pride in being proactive, ambitious and self-directed individual.
Scope of Responsibility
Partners with the Product Marketing leads to ensure regional marketing plans and strategy are consistent and integrated with the global plans.
Leads marketing initiatives in partnership with Coverage and Product teams and serves as the principal point of contact for regional marketing services and support
Develop and manage marketing plans to stimulate ongoing revenue growth and to support special events and initiatives, such as new product launches and global strategic initiatives.
Produces meaningful metrics for the business and offer fact-based insights to help guide strategies for brand positioning, client retention and development, pricing, product innovation, industry partnerships, and cost-effective methods for attracting new business.
Collaborate with Sales, Consulting and Client Service teams to identify marketing challenges and opportunities and find productive ways to address them
Deliver compelling benefits-driven content (ie. sales presentations, website content, newsletter articles, thought leadership papers, client case studies, events etc.) to drive and support MSCI go-to market activities.
Desired Experience and Skills
At least ten years of relevant marketing experience
Good understanding of financial services and the investment process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
Excellent organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects/plans and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Confident self-starter with proven leadership qualities, ability to work in a matrix work environment and strong partnership skills
Proficient in Japanese language would be advantageous
