Manor Country Club is currently looking to fill their Catering and Membership Marketing Associate position. It's a unique position in which the Associate receives experience in the sales and coordination of various private events and also membership marketing. The Associate plays a key role in building the catering program and bringing new members to the club. While reaching these objectives, the Associate is giving the current membership fun,creative,and excellent experiences. We are a family at Manor and look forward to our newest member to join us.
Weekly Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm
Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
Utilize Club Connect Catering daily to add, update and detail upcoming events
Meet daily with Catering Director for new and updated events and membership marketing leads
Produce weekly details event packets to include all completed banquet event orders for upcoming month
Send surveys to Members after internal event occur. Report feedback to management.
Book new and repeat business for members and sponsored non-members
Alert Clubhouse Manager and Executive Chef of BEO changes through revise banquet event orders and provide to them in person and email scanned copies of the adjusted BEOs
Assist Directors in final walkthroughs of large events.
Greet hosts when they arrive. Oversee weekend and evening events when necessary.
Develop event flyers and internal marketing flyers for membership goals
Maintain updated Wedding Wire account, respond to inquiries.
Attended designated tastings and take detailed notes
Check voicemail and email and respond in a timely matter to all inquires
Tour prospective members and families and walk in private event tours
Scan and email BEOs with timeline, floorplan other details for host’s final approval
File all contracts, deposits and additional details for events
Proactively reach out to clients for their food, beverage, AV, and room set-up requests
Develop diagrams, timelines, and when necessary spread sheets for external and internal events
Order from Preferred Vendors, i.e. Florists, Photographers, Valet Companies, Lighting Companies, Rental Companies, etc.
Book Vendors for Member and Nonmember Events.
Maintain and oversee details for Annual Fireworks Fest each year.
Maintain Social Media Platforms- Daily Updates to Facebook, Instagram, Texting App, etc
Maintain Website with Daily Review and Updates. Upload pictures, new events, and additional information to keep all website information current
Oversee Calendar Updates on Website
Work with Membership Marketing in redeveloping new monthly newsletter.
Work with Membership Director organizing leads for membership, scheduling emails and calls to these contacts.
Send emails to prospective members with reached out through the website.
Send thank you email and/or notes to clients after event has been completed.
Oversee “Drop Off” program to local business for exposure.
Essential Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience required in catering sales and/or event coordination.
Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional Member service.
Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights and weekends)
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
Proficient in computer skills including catering software, Word and Excel.
Professional appearance appropriate for a premier country club.
Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multi-task
Must have good communication and ability to promote sales.
Must be skilled in time management.
Must exhibit an excellent service attitude and be willing to go out of their way to accommodate the Members and exceed their expectations.
Must be flexible and able to adjust to meet the changing needs of the Club and the Members.
Must maintain a level of professionalism and communicate effectively.
Must show enthusiasm for the job and for the Club.
Must be considerate, patient and willing to help out fellow employees.
Must have a good self-image
Must be able to tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently during busy times.
Possess the highest work ethics, personal morals and honesty beyond reproach.
