UWC has an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Marketing within our Marketing team.
The Director of Marketing is a member of the marketing management team and reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and Enrollment Services. This position is responsible for establishing and executing marketing strategies to meet enrollment goals for a broad portfolio of non-credit and credit programs. Exceptional client management skills, advanced digital marketing expertise, solid consumer marketing knowledge and team leadership experience are key to success in this role.
Develop strong partnerships with UW Continuum College stakeholders across campus.
Supervise, lead, and mentor the team that supports degree program marketing efforts and handle escalated campus client issues.
Demonstrate marketing leadership in enrollment/recruitment marketing to the post-traditional/adult student market through client presentations, communications and other awareness efforts.
Serve a leadership role in managing our digital roadmap and related projects with the objective of creating frictionless and intuitive digital experiences for prospective and current students.
Study competitors/peers and audience to develop effective messaging and state-of-the-art digital marketing strategies that grow leads.
Collaborate with marketing and enrollment services directors to create an integrated marketing strategy across all functions.
Build and implement a thoughtful and precisely-timed prospective and current student communication strategy considering the end-to-end customer journey. Design strategy to maximize information delivery, encourage user engagement and drive conversion.
Support the UW/Continuum College brand strategy.
Marketing Analytics and Reporting
Monitor, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives using both qualitative and quantitative methods to enable decision-making.
Supervise, lead, and mentor a team of up to 10 marketing professionals with roles in web content strategy, web content management, marketing analytics, digital marketing and client management.
Hire as needed, supervise, train and develop staff. Create team-like environment in which members work toward similar outcomes and cover for one another during absences.
| Bachelor's degree in business with a marketing focus or related subject area and a minimum of 5 years of progressively senior-level marketing responsibilities, including 4 years of supervisory experience. |
Demonstrated experience leading digital marketing programs and content development, including but not limited to site/search/social.
Strong understanding of Google Analytics.
Consumer marketing experience.
Ability to lead production of high quality editorial content in digital environments.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at successfully building internal and external relationships.
Innovative thinker and creative problem solver with a willingness and proven ability to challenge the status quo.
Experience evaluating marketing approaches and exercising critical thinking, problem solving and judgment.
Ability to be flexible, self-motivated and positive, and to respond to the dynamics of a changing environment.
Ability to build, inspire, motivate and lead a team towards success.
Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
