Responsible for the product management of the CENTERLINE 2100 Low Voltage Motor Control Center and Low Voltage Panels business product lines. Responsible for developing the strategy and future direction for both product lines; including growth strategy, target market identification, go-to-market plans, product development and service level requirements. Also responsible for pricing, forecasting, competitive evaluation, product positioning, product launches, product cost management, and all product marketing activities.
Evaluate and determine product requirements and configurations to attain and maintain market leading position
Obtain market information on customer needs through market research, customer visits, and application group feedback.
Develop and implement long and short term strategies to achieve revenue and profit objectives for the product lines
Evaluate and develop information for the business unit and field sales personnel on competitive product features, pricing, positioning and how to sell messages.
Generate new product functional specifications, initiate engineering investigations, develop projects and guide the product through Development Engineering, Industrialization, and Manufacturing.
Generate sales forecasts for assigned product lines and monitor sales with corrective action taken as necessary.
Generate/direct the production of literature and collateral material required to support products of responsibility.
Train/direct instruction of new and existing products to field organization (sales force, distribution, etc.) in the use and application of products.
Assist the field organization during initial product promotion and assist customers in specific product applications and startups.
Set pricing levels and achieve revenues/gross margins to meet the business unit operating plan.
Develop Commercial Programs and participate in the development of promotional and marketing communication materials.
Responsible for articulating product line vision and growth strategies and driving implementation through key Rockwell constituencies
Maintain effective use of the assigned personnel, and ensure the staff is maintained at an effective level of training and competence. Perform performance appraisals and initiate salary actions.
Responsible for providing a 0-5+ year market focus of financially and/or strategically critical product lines. Defines and communicates market and customer requirements through interaction with project teams, customers, field sales, and other departments to maximize market success.
Interface with strategic partners, product development and related organizations (sales, technical, applications, customer service, quality, purchasing, etc.) to drive product line performance.
Builds effective relationships, relates to people in an open, friendly, accepting manner; shows sincere interest in others and their concerns; initiates and develops relationships with others as a key priority
Develops effective give-and-take relationships with others, understands the agendas and perspectives of others; recognizes and effectively balances the interests and needs of one's own group with those of the broader organization

Responsible for strategically managing and improving the performance of assigned products.
Prepare business plans for existing and future products to meet the business unit and divisional growth objectives.
Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures.
BSME, BSEE or equivalent area of study: MBA is desirable.
At least 3 years of leadership experience.
