Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist will work closely with the director to manage the College of Arts & Sciences' communications, marketing and digital presence. Responsibilities include: managing, monitoring, analyzing, and improving performance of the college's main website and social media channels; consulting with academic departments to help them improve their web presence and achieve their communications goals; leading the news gathering and dissemination function of the Communications Office by promoting stories to internal BU outlets and publishing the bi-weekly faculty e-newsletter; managing production of various print and digital communications projects; playing the lead role in organizing and tracking results of recruitment emails to prospective undergraduates; and other projects as needed. The ideal candidate would be a strong writer with a broad background in communications who is self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn more about digital communications platforms and analytics.
Salary: Grade 73
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Three to five years of relevant experience required.
