The University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for an Associate Director of Undergraduate Communications and Marketing in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment. UW-Madison is a major research university, nationally and internationally renowned. The Office of Admissions and Recruitment recruits nationally, handles hundreds of inquiries each day, and receives more than 43,000 undergraduate applications annually.
The Associate Director will play a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive and integrated communications and marketing strategy and manage a social marketing plan that focuses on both short-term and long-term strategies. We are seeking a visionary and energetic professional to serve on a progressive Admissions Office team. This dynamic person will be responsible for drafting, designing and coordinating the publication of various Admissions materials using traditional and non-traditional marketing methods. This position reports to the Director of Admissions and Recruitment. The incumbent will join a team that represents the university to prospective freshman and transfer students, with a goal of attracting, recruiting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, geographically diverse student body.
The full-time academic staff position is available immediately with a desired begin date of April 1, 2017. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered, with title and salary dependent on qualifications. The minimum starting salary is negotiable.
