The Director of Sales & Marketing leads all aspects of the sales, marketing and public relations functions for the organization. Supervises all sales, marketing and public relations staff, providing guidance, training and oversight in all staff duties. Leads development and implementation of all strategic marketing plans, events and campaigns. Works collaboratively with all stakeholders including Leadership Team Members, Board Committees, Resident Marketing Committee and Kendal Corporation Marketing Staff. Essential Functions 1. Leads all aspects of the sales, marketing and public relations functions for the organization including development and implementation of annual marketing plan, campaigns, events and communications. 2. Provides guidance, training and oversight to all department staff as it relates to sales, REPS lead database and all other techniques and tools. 3. Sets annual and quarterly sales and other activity goals along and achieves those goals with the use of incentives and other creative approaches. 4. Works as a collaborative member of the Leadership Team working closely with and guiding all stakeholders including Board Committees, RA Marketing Committee, Kendal Corp. Marketing Staff and others. 5. Partners with various departments in ensuring all communications to prospects are in line with current expectations and deliverables of services within community.
Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a leadership role in business or not-for-profit sales/marketing, preferably in a retirement housing, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
