Provide support to the Sales Managers in a fast paced environment. Coordinate all details for trade shows, executive luncheons, familiarization programs, promotional activities including registration, payment, shipments and participant travel schedule and records. Create accounts, bookings and site visitations; maintain client files including contracts, booking patterns, receipt of rooming list form, itinerary and other pertinent information. Must be able to multi task and expedite last minute requests. The position of Sales Administrative Assistant requires professional telephone etiquette, good writing, analytical and problem solving skills, knowledge of the organization practices, planning, records management and general administration principles. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively both written and oral.
The candidate must have experience with the Delphi Hospitality System. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; strong accounting skills required. Type 55 wpm and have a minimum of three years administrative experience, especially in a hotel or resort.
