The Department of Marketing at Rutgers Business School—Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for one Assistant Professor position (tenure-track) starting in September 2018. The position is subject to budgetary approval. Applicants should either have completed their PhD in Marketing (or a related field), or should be on track to complete it prior to joining Rutgers. The selected candidate will be expected to perform at a high level in terms of several dimensions: research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervising graduate students, and engaging in service activities. Therefore, a track record of excellence along these dimensions, or strong potential to achieve such excellence, is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the ability to teach quantitative Marketing courses (Marketing Research, Advanced Marketing Research, Analytics, etc). Applications from underrepresented minority candidates are particularly encouraged.
Rutgers Business School is located in the New York metropolitan area and spans campuses in Newark and New Brunswick. We opened a new business school building in Newark in 2009 and a new business school building in New Brunswick in 2013. Faculty members are expected to teach at both locations.
