Responsibilities include planning & coordinating all annual fundraising campaigns and events; responsible for cultivation of new donors and planned giving; coordination of all social media marketing activities
Organize capital campaign strategy and execution, setting communication and funding goals.
Develop marketing materials and plan special events to generate funding.
Recruit, schedule, and ensure a positive experience for volunteers.
Coordinate identification and relationship building with key donors and groups.
Provides leadership for marketing efforts including social media platforms
Reviews, edits, assists with compilation of grants
Cultivation of new donors and maintenance of existing donor base.
Takes lead role in communication activities; including annual report, program brochures, press releases and online newsletters

About Apple Ridge Farm
Who We Are
Since 1978, Apple Ridge Farm has been providing environmental education, summer camp experiences, and afterschool programs for more than 80,000 youth, many from Roanoke’s inner-city neighborhoods and public housing projects. Apple Ridge’s 96 acre Copper Hill facility was purchased in 1975 to establish a mountain camp to give underserved children an educational experience at a rural retreat.
