Department: 148501 - BTEC-Biomfg Training Ed Ctr Location: Raleigh, NC Essential Job Duties: Essential Job Duties include but are not limited to the following: –participating in discussions with new and prospective clients to understand needs and communicate BTEC capabilities; –gathering information to support development of proposals for new or prospective clients by working with BTEC staff and instructors; –collaborating with BTEC's planning committee to identify potential dates for custom courses based on classroom, labs, and instructional needs; –developing course cost estimates; –facilitating execution of contracts with clients; –serving as primary point-of-contact for vendors interested in holding vendor courses, seminars, or lunch-and-learn events using BTEC facilities. –collaborating as an active part of BTEC's marketing committee to ensure short course program marketing plans are aligned and consistent with BTEC's strategic initiatives for promoting the current portfolio of BTEC courses and capabilities to local, national, and international industry professionals; –developing annual calendar for open-enrollment short courses; –preparing and disseminating brochures, one-pagers, as well as social media posts to advertise open-enrollment courses and customized training services; –attending local and national conferences to market BTEC; –monitoring enrollment levels sufficient to adapt and target marketing as needed; –coordinating necessary updates to the BTEC website. –serving as primary point-of-contact between custom course clients and BTEC instructors once contracts have been signed; –leading periodic cross-functional course planning meetings to plan for upcoming courses and review feedback from completed courses –developing course schedules and ensuring instructors have been assigned to courses; –coordinating course development activities with instructor(s); –ensuring that classrooms, labs, and resources are properly scheduled for courses as needed; –ensuring course evaluations are completed for all short courses; –greeting and welcoming trainees to BTEC on the first day of class; –ensuring the needs of all trainees are met during courses; –track metrics and for the short course program; Minimum Experience/Education: Require post-baccalaureate credentials or a bachelor's degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis.
