The assistant director will work with a tight-knit, collaborative team to enhance business and marketing initiatives. This position will reside in the Marketing & Communications Office and report to the Director of Digital Marketing. The primary client is the Office of Undergraduate Admission. This position will assist with all out-bound and in-bound marketing collateral for the Undergraduate Admissions office which includes SEM, SEO, social, print, digital, radio and outdoor collateral. We are searching for a hands-on, marketing person. Salesforce/Pardot experience is a plus.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The statements below are intended to describe the principal duties of the person or persons assigned to this role. • Allocate resources to maximize collaboration, efficiency and creativity in the building and maintenance of consistent branding across all marketing channels. • Work closely with SEO/SEM agency and implement recommendations. • Create and maintain a marketing communications calendar. • Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities. • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single source opportunities. • Work with assigned internal team to obtain an in-depth understanding of the program requirements. • Manage on-line campaigns by individual programs. • Produce high quality content for inbound and outbound marking efforts. • Create content for multiple mediums including but not limited to: website, social media, emails, press releases and advertisements. • Manage digital assets and content management systems. • Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED SKILLS Broad Knowledge and experience in:
• Strong Project Management skills; ability to organize project timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs. • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly. • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon time-frame. • Demonstrated focus on accuracy and high attention to detail. • Must understand online marketing (SEO, SEM, Digital ads) best practices. • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of cross functional teams. • Able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests as well as collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying effective solutions. • Technical knowledge of HTML and Photoshop. • Salesforce experience is a plus
